It’s probably a good thing that I inherited my great grandmother’s uncannily quick metabolism and my mother’s flawless skin.  Because if I didn’t, I would be a hundred pounds heavier and my complexion would be pitiful.  I like food. So. Much.  Too much? Not possible. Will my love for it plague me later in life when everything about my body changes? Most definitely.  ...

Went to Zeigler’s this morning for art supplies. I loaded myself down with brushes, canvas, and paints. Spent my whole morning painting. :) My finished product was outer space. Then I went to pick up my senior photos. I love them all. From there I went with mum to go shopping… bought two dresses, two blouses, one pair of pants, three pairs of shoes, a short military style jacket with...

It does me. But then I remember the very next second later, “They are just people too.”

What time is it?
My favorite time: BATH TIME!!!!! :D Then time to go get lost in reading Angels & Demons. Can’t wait to start this book.  Shopping at the farmer’s market tomorrow for fresh/local/organic produce. Then to the paint supply store. Then home to make apple juice. Then painting for hours. Then shopping with mum. Then back to painting.  Life is good.

My print of the greenery covered mountains in Ogden, Utah. It’s black and white here, obviously, thanks to my iMac setting. But I like this photo just the same. Ogden, Utah once again. I liked how once held up to the iMac camera and transferred to black and white, this looks like a foggy old B&W film shot.  The following shots are just proof that I am a goof in class. Side note:...

Fetching art and decoupage supplies this weekend. I will then make homemade apple juice with my dad, equip myself with a large glass, and head to my room.  I will only leave to pee, meditate, and get snacks.  I’m going to paint in an oversized t-shirt on a sheet with my most-likely unbrushed hair in chopsticks, and I will be so content. Nothing is better than surrounding yourself with...

I wish I could draw and paint all over my bedroom walls. That’s all I want to do. But I know my parents would never let me.  So I think I’m going to take huge pieces of paper or canvas, and just draw and paint and write lyrics all over them. I’ll tape them from ceiling to floor. I need the room I live and breathe in to contain what I live and breathe.  Solution. :)

The Lament of Lovers Lost
Below is a link to the short story I wrote for the hitRECord community. I hadn’t contributed something in awhile —- I had simply been RECommending and thinking of ways to REmix —- so I decided last night that this needed to change.  Inspired by the absolutely beautiful short film Nuit Blanche (by Spyfilms) and its music, this just sort of poured out of me. I don’t really...

Mind blowing photographs of animals inside womb
miriyum: These amazing embryonic animal photographs of dolphins, sharks, dogs, penguins, cats and elephants are from a new National Geographic Documentary called “Extraordinary Animals in the Womb”. The show’s producer, Peter Chinn, used a combination of three-dimensional ultrasound scans, computer graphics and tiny cameras to capture the process from conception to birth. They are the most...

Vam-peer.
Myself, with my lovely gent of a classmate, Casey. Yet again, another shot from Tulsa Tech. We decided to sink our teeth into the vampire cliche’. (Yeah, that pun was lame. I’m cool.)  These two shots were my favorites. Photos by Shelby Anderson.

Bathtub Revelry
In life, my most beloved and beautiful luxury would have to be the bath.  Ah yes, the bath. While I love so many other things, it is this cleaning vessel that really gets me. Five minute showers just don’t do it for me anymore. Showers, period, just won’t do it for me. (Unless someone else is included, but that’s an entirely different story!) I never understood the relaxation...

I cannot believe how many actually believe that Al Qaeda Terrorists were to blame for such a horrible tragedy. I cannot believe how many people know nothing of World Trade Center 7 (Yes, 7. Look it up.) I cannot believe how many people believe that a plane could have disappeared completely after crashing into the Pentagon. I cannot believe how many people believe that two airplanes and their fuel...
