Today So Far:
Woke up
Ate breakfast
Took the little cousins to school
Came home
Craved these tacos
Proceeded not to make them
And now I am laying in bed, constantly aware of the “broken heart” I’m carrying around in my chest, and continuing to write my post on YOURS for the music blog. Hmmph.
We could have had it all.

My Facebook wall is full of people talking about...
I made the decision not to walk. When I was a Freshman, I dreamt about the day I would walk. I attended a graduation every year, so it’s funny that I’m not attending my own.
But when it boiled down to it, I was done with high school in October. I moved on with my life and realized that the graduation that will be most important to me is the one from college. And of course, it’s...
And another thing?
Computer use and television watching has gone down significantly in just the two days I’ve been here. I have other things to do with my time… finally!
For instance, this will probably be the last time I’m on the web until after dinner. No complaints at all. :)

My uncle is an amateur photographer who has purchased equipment way beyond his experience level and doesn’t know how to use it. (Typical, right?)
But lucky for him, and mostly lucky for me, I know how to use it all. His cameras (yes, he has multiple) are all beautiful. So, guess who has two thumbs and gets to start taking photos all the time again? THIS GIRL.
It’s amazing how good...
Making gnocchi and sauce from scratch.
And some people are still wondering why I’m moving in here…
aimeerants asked: Can I ask probably a silly question? In your post about you moving to be with your aunt (well done by the way, it sounds like it's going to be fab), you called your mum "mum". I'm so interested in how things differ between America and England, and I thought that it was always "Mom" in America. I was wondering if it's a common thing where you are, or if Mum is a...

Another Move.
I’m moving in with my aunt and uncle, but not the ones in Utah. (Not yet, anyway). These two live in Oklahoma.
For the next month or so, I will be living with my aunt and uncle, their two five year old twins Sean and Sophia, and my aunt Isabel’s mother. There’s a whole heap of reasons why we made this decision, but it mostly boils down to how welcome I feel here. I’ve been...
