So I’ll clear the road, the gravel,
And the thornbush in your path..
That burns a scented oil
That I’ll drip into your bath…

The water’s there to warm you,
And the earth is warmer when you laugh.

Found an old, vintage article of clothing that’s like a thin cover up. It’s covered in things pertaining subtly to Japanese culture… and while that isn’t usually my cup of tea (harhar), it looks beautiful all swirled together. It’s bright orange, ivory, and yellow. My roommate (whom I have known forever) came running out of the place where we were unloading boxes with it in her hands and said, “Do you remember when the old woman gave us this?!”

I got it at the flea market as a little girl. It swallowed me then and fits me perfectly now. Little me traveled through time and knew I would adore it. I’m convinced.
